2. Making a purchase
Just browse our catalogue, and click "Add to Basket" on any items that you wish to buy. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to fulfil your order. If you are ordering as a gift for someone in a different household we will send the receipted invoice to you, not to them and will send them a brochure but not a price list. If your gift is to a person in the same household you may need to advise us about discretion if we telephone you.

You can pay by credit or debit card securely via SagePay. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, Solo, Maestro, Cirrus (We regret that we cannot process American Express or Diners Club cards). You can provide your credit card information by telephone, fax, post or over the Internet. Cheques should be made payable to "Walkham Teak Ltd" and made out in £ Sterling.

3. Credit card security and data protection
Walkham Teak Ltd takes the security of our customers' personal data and credit card details very seriously. All credit or debit card details are encrypted by SagePay when the order is placed. They are not held in clear text on any web site. If your order is made over the telephone or by fax your credit card details will not be held on our computers at all.

4. Customer services/complaints
If you have any questions or complaints about your order please contact us. Our office hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm UK time Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 1.00pm Saturday (except public holidays). You can leave a message outside these times.

We will endeavour to acknowledge and respond to any complaints within 5 working days and when we assess the problem we will advise you how long it should take to resolve. We will also keep you informed throughout the process until the matter is resolved to your satisfaction.

If your furniture arrives damaged or faulty in any way please call us within 7 days of receipt to arrange repair/replacement. We may ask for a photograph or further details before deciding on the best course of action. If the damage appears to be due to delivery mishandling you should retain the packaging.

We reserve the right to replace or repair damaged furniture at our discretion. If a repair is carried out please be assured that the result will be as new in appearance and strength.

This does not affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

5. Delivery charges
Delivery is free for the whole of England, Wales and Scotland excluding the Highlands. A small surcharge may be applied for deliveries to the Scottish Highlands. Tables have the legs removed for a major saving in transport volume and hence price, but no DIY skills are needed to fit the legs. For seats and some armchairs a significant saving in price is available for those who do not mind receiving their seat in five major components. Putting these together takes about 25 minutes and, again, no DIY or carpentry skills are needed.

For delivery outside mainland Britain there is an additional charge. Please contact us for a quotation.

6. Delivery schedule
Because most items are in stock you will normally receive your furniture within 14 days of your order. Occasionally an item may be out of stock in which case you will be advised if delivery will take longer.

Your furniture will be delivered on a day of your choosing from Tuesdays to Fridays, usually during normal working hours, but occasionally a little later. Morning delivery, Saturday morning delivery or at a specified time can be arranged for an additional charge. European Union deliveries are usually made within 3 weeks and international orders are generally received in under 28 days.

7. V.A.T
For orders made from the UK or the European Union V.A.T. at the current rate is included in the price. All other orders are V.A.T. free and you should click the exempt button to reduce V.A.T. to zero.

8. Guarantee
Our furniture is guaranteed for 6 years against defects of material or workmanship. To invoke this guarantee you only need to call us; you do not need to produce your original purchase invoice because we will have the purchase date and product details on our database.

9. Privacy policy
Walkham Teak Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and it will be held securely in accordance with the Act. We collect information about you for two reasons: to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. We do not conduct telephone sales. We do not pass our customers' details to any third party or mailing list company.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

* address
* telephone number
* email address
* credit/debit card details

You can check the information that we hold about you by contacting us. If you find any inaccuracies we will correct them immediately.

10. Returns policy - 30 day money-back guarantee
If, for up to 30 days after you receive your furniture, you do not agree that it is enabling you to enjoy your garden more, simply call us and we will arrange collection at our own expense and give you a full refund.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
