Making A Purchase Just browse our Catalogue, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to fulfil the order.

You can pay by credit card or personal cheque. We accept Visa and Mastercard. You may send your credit card information via telephone, fax, post or over the Internet. Cheques should be payable to "Walkham Teak Ltd" and made out in £ Sterling.

Customer Services/Complaints If you have any questions or complaints about your order you can call us on (+44) 01822 852252 or by using any of the methods shown on our Contacts page. Our office hours are 9.00am to 6.00pm UK time Monday to Friday, and 9.00am to 1.00pm Saturday (except public holidays). You can leave a message outside of these times.

We will endeavour to acknowledge and respond to any complaints within 5 working days, and when we assess the problem we will advise you how long it should take to resolve. We will also keep you informed throughout the process until the complaint is drawn to a satisfactory conclusion. For our full complaints procedure, click here

If your furniture arrives damaged or faulty in any way, please call us within 7 days of receipt to arrange repair/ replacement. We may ask for a photograph or further details before deciding on the best course of action. If the damage appears to be due to delivery mishandling you should retain the packaging.

This does not affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Delivery Delivery is free for the whole of England and Wales, but we regret that because of high fuel costs a small surcharge may be applied for deliveries to Scotland. Tables have the legs removed for a major saving in transport volume and hence price, but no DIY skills are needed to fit the legs. For seats and some armchairs a significant saving in price is available for those who do not mind receiving their seat in five major components. Putting these together takes about 25 minutes and, again, no DIY or carpentry skills are needed.

Delivery Schedule Because most items are in stock you will normally receive your furniture within 14 days of order. Occasionally an item may be out of stock in which case you will be advised if delivery will take longer.

Furniture will arrive from Mondays to Fridays, usually during normal working hours, but occasionally a little later. Delivery on Saturday or at a specified time and day can be arranged for an additional charge.

International orders are generally received in under 28 days.

Back Orders If any of your items are not in stock we will contact you to let you know the delivery time and ask if you would like us to deliver any items we do have. You will also have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included in the price. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero

Security of Personal Data Walkham Teak Ltd take the security of our customers' personal data, particularly credit card details, very seriously.

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Our computers are not connected to any permanent external network/internet, to minimise attacks by hackers. If your order is made over the telephone or by fax your credit card details will not be held on our computers at all.

Right to Cancel If, for up to 30 days after you receive your furniture, you do not agree that it is enabling you to enjoy your garden more, simply call us and we will arrange collection at our own expense and give you a full refund.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
